The Sims: Medieval announced PDF Print

A few weeks ago, we reported about rumors concerning an alleged Sims game set in the Middle Ages. Everthing seemed to be only a rumor until a few days ago, when the news about an existing and soon-to-be-released Medieval-themed game spread around the net - but as EA didn't announce it officially, nobody could write about it.

Finally, today EA Games announced a new game called The Sims: Medieval, which is a spin off that involves characters from The Sims 3 and is set in the age of knights, queens and spears, which will be released for PC and MAC in spring 2011. As it was for The Sims Stories (Pet, Island and Life), it will probably be a lighter game version, with less customizing options and missions to follow. You can find the press release here and the first screenshots after the jump!

Rumors about a presumed Medieval-themed expansion pack or game PDF Print

For the sake of clarity, we are reporting this news but we want to make clear that it is a rumor that is totally without foundation. Some sites reported about the existance of site domains such as,,,,,, that lead to think about a Medieval-themed game related to The Sims or even a new expansion pack. Some users have also tried to find out the name of these sites' owners but either EA Games has societies who buy domains for them or someone made a blunder. There aren't, in fact, links with EA nor seems to be possible an expansion pack about this topic, as no EP has a dedicated site. If it has got something to do with Redwood Shores' company, then it may - may, it's absolutely not sure - be a new project, independent from The Sims...something like Sims Carnival, for example.

We hope to make things clearer with this article!
